Inspired by the original 1962 model, this fascinating Captain Cook features a black-to-burgundy gradient dial, shimmering beneath a box-shaped sapphire crystal. The striking aesthetics are further enhanced by rhodium-plated indexes and hands with Super-LumiNova® and a polished black bezel insert crafted from Rado’s proprietary high-tech ceramic. The watch is powered by the Rado Calibre R763, a 25-jewel, three-hand automatic movement that ensures greater reliability and accuracy with its anti-magnetic Nivachron™ hairspring. The 39 mm stainless steel case, water-resistant to 30 bar (300 m), complements the existing case sizes of 37 mm and 42 mm. This means the Captain Cook range now offers a suitable model for every wrist size. The watch is secured to the wrist with a vintage-style stainless steel "rice grain" bracelet – perfect for classic occasions. This can also be easily interchanged with two additional straps: a burgundy NATO textile strap with a black border and a black leather strap. With its rich colour, this robust and reliable timepiece is the perfect companion for active adventurers.
