On the sides, vertically brushed, rounded finishes alternate with polished facets. The Tissot PRX 40 205 Quartz is equipped with a sunray dial in combination with nickel-plated indices and hands. Additionally, there is a variant with a satin-finished, silver-grey dial with rose gold-colored indices and hands – a color combination that also harks back to the late 1970s. The lines of the case extend directly into the bracelet without the use of traditional lugs. The hands of the PRX 40 205 are coated with SuperLumiNova® and are set very close to each other. This allows the dial to be brought closer to the watch crystal. The optical effect achieved by the Tissot designers makes the watch's case appear even flatter and slimmer than it actually is.
